Phil Rizzuto Hall of Fame Scooter

August 9th 1994 was Phil Rizzuto Hall of Fame Day at Yankee Stadium. Originally scheduled for Aug. 13th but moved to Aug. 9th to avoid the baseball strike of 1994. Regardless of the rescheduling, 50,070 fans showed up to honor "The Scooter". The night was even more emotion - packed than Cooperstown. Phil received many gifts on that glorious day but none more special than this custom made Yankee Scooter. It was driven out of the bullpen by Bobby Murcer and presented to Phil. Also included is the poster by Leroy Neiman that was given to the fans that day. It is autographed by Leroy Neiman and Phil Rizzuto!
